BWB Graduate Programme

Our Graduate Programme is the perfect place for you if you are an ambitious and passionate individual. Our programme offers you the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented and respected engineers and consultants in the industry and help you reach your full potential through a technical syllabus & skills development programme. You will receive independent mentoring, support through to Chartership and the opportunity to gain responsibility on a range of exciting projects.

What you’ll be doing

You will be working as a Graduate Electrical Engineer within the Mechanical & Electrical team.

Your duties will include assisting the project team with technical support activities, as determined by the Team Leader and/or other senior members of the team. Working under the supervision of a more senior member of staff, you may be given the opportunity to lead sections of a project. You will be required to work in close co-operation with others in BWB.

You will be required to:

• Communicate effectively and co-operate within a project team to support the achievement of a project brief.
• Provide solutions to technical problems and provide input to technical reports, with the support from Senior members of the team.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues throughout the Company, Clients and Suppliers.
• Promote the Company and its services to others.
• Demonstrate willingness and take a proactive approach to ongoing CPD.

What you’ll bring

• Ideally you will have a degree in Building Services Engineering or in your final year studying towards this
• Good skills in problem solving
• Good communication and personal organization skills and be able to work in a team environment
• Demonstrable enthusiasm, ambition and a willingness to learn
• Good Computer skills, in particular with the suite of Microsoft Office software applications
