What You’ll Be Doing
Working alongside BWB’s Energy Market Lead, you will be responsible for applying your civil engineering knowledge to interpreting Clients’ needs and requirements into a technical scope of works, and providing quality assurance on delivery team project work.
You will be providing technical leadership for civils elements around anything from new grid scale substations, overhead lines, underground cables, onshore wind farms, hydrogen and Carbon Capture pipelines, solar farms, BESS projects – you name it!
You will be supported by the business to build on our early success in this market, working with colleagues in structures, geotechnical engineering, project management, MEP, environmental specialists and engagement consultants collaboratively to take us to the next level.
What You’ll Bring
Please note - Due to our existing client base, we need someone with a strong Engineering background rather than a business development background
A strong Civil Engineering background, preferably with experience in the energy generation, storage, transmission or distribution sector
A pragmatic problem solver that can relishes new engineering challenges and can apply their experience in new ways
Strong client/ stakeholder manager relationship skills
The ability to define a scope from an engineering perspective
