What you’ll be doing:
In your first year of this role you will rotate around our civil and structural disciplines as part of our graduate programme.
Undertaking civil & structural analysis for various types of buildings using their understanding of civil & structural fundamentals.
You will be fully supported by our experienced team of civil & structural engineers and technicians.
Working on a variety of projects which will enable you to develop your practical skillset, knowledge of various materials, sectors considerations and commercial & environmental awareness. You will also be invited to attend our Head Start Programme which will provide support and guidance during your early career.
Supporting the business with delivering cost effective, energy efficient and environmentally sustainable projects across many different sectors including education, high-rise, residential and student accommodation, commercial and healthcare.
Designing new buildings through to adapting, refurbishing our principle of applying intelligent design, flexibility and innovation remains constant whilst ensuring we meet our clients brief.
What you’ll bring:
A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or in your final year studying towards this
Keen to share your ideas about how we can do things better
Great communication skills developed through well-rounded life experience - academically, socially and in any previous work situations
Enthusiastic and ambitious to learn and progress
A problem solver with strong communication skills
Personal organisation skills, and the ability to work well within a team
Right to Work and live in the UK
A knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
Applicants with some work experience in engineering, either through work experience or as part of an academic course, are ideally sought.
