What you’ll be doing:
- Organising and coordinating meetings with technical specialists & external stakeholders
- Supporting on research for stakeholder mapping and audits.
- Researching and developing themes, core messages and collateral for multiple audiences and stakeholders, including digital users, the media, local communities, statutory bodies, technical groups, and elected representatives.
- Assisting with the production of consultation and event materials, working alongside the wider team and our suppliers
- Attending and organising events (live and digital)
- Supporting with developing surveys, managing stakeholder feedback channels and analysing consultation responses (qualitative and quantitative)
- Assisting with newsletters, and other marketing and communications outputs
- Aiding in preparation of consultation outputs such as Statements of Community Involvements
What you’ll bring:
- A relevant degree in a Public Relations, Politics or a Communications related course, Psychology, Social Sciences, Human Geography, Journalism, Economics (or equivalent), and a keen interest in Stakeholder Engagement.
- We are looking for graduates with the following characteristics:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to write content for multiple channels tailored to meet the needs of different audiences.
- Ability to organise and manage own time and commitments when working across multiple projects and for a range of clients.
- The ability to work as part of a team and collaborate to solve complex issues.
- Good knowledge and keen interest in digital communications and engagement tools.
- An enthusiasm in helping to shape the built environment and sustainable design.
- A good grasp of current affairs – the political environment and issues affecting the built environment, including major infrastructure and regeneration schemes.
- A commitment to continuous professional development with an aspiration to become CIPR Chartered or equivalent.
