About the role

BWB Consulting has an exciting opportunity for a Land Surveyor to be based in our Nottingham office.

The role has been created to assist with Land Surveys due to the continued expansion of the Surveying service within our advisory division. It requires an excellent understanding of the technical, operational and practical aspects of Land Surveys, as well as experience of undertaking a range of other surveying activities. The role is within a team that is expanding quickly therefore able to offer clear career paths for the successful candidate.

Our talented and experienced teams fuse local knowledge with national Environmental standards and legislation in a manner that enables BWB to undertake a wide variety of projects.

We are in the middle of very exciting times for the Environment Survey Team and indeed for BWB therefore we are looking to grow this dynamic and integral team. We provide a comprehensive design and advisory service focused on areas such as: -

• Meeting the engineering challenges involved in servicing the infrastructure requirements of regeneration and development projects

• Working across transport, residential, commercial, industrial, health & retail sectors

• Clients ranging from local/national developers and contractors to public sector bodies

What you‘ll be doing

With a good knowledge of Land Surveys you will be delivering surveys to a high standard and assist with the wider team.

• Delivering high quality Land Surveys.

• Working collaboratively within the team giving input into various projects.

• Assisting in the continued growth of the Land Survey Service.

What you‘ll bring

• At least 2 years’ experience working in the survey industry.

• Capability of undertaking Topographical Surveys using industry standard equipment.

• Expertise in the use of LSS and AutoCAD software.

• Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and contractors.

• Organisation and time management skills.

• Full driving license valid in the UK.

• Qualified to a minimum of HNC in Civil Engineering Surveying or equivalent.

In addition, Rail Surveying, Laser Scanning and point cloud registration experience would be of benefit for this role.
