The BWB Graduate Programme
Our Graduate Programme is the perfect place for you if you are an ambitious and passionate individual. Our programme will develop you to become a 'complete professional' and offer you a supportive induction programme, the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented and respected engineers and consultants in the industry. You will receive independent mentoring, support through to Chartership and the opportunity to gain responsibility on a range of exciting projects.
Through our in-house PROpel scheme we will help you plan your career development and reach your full potential through a technical syllabus & skills development program.
What you’ll be doing
- Undertaking specialist technical work such as air and odour dispersion modelling, air quality/odour/dust monitoring
- Working on projects from proposal stage right through to completion
- Getting involved with Project Management
- Report writing and ad hoc administration duties to support the role
- Contributing towards the management of project finances
- Mentoring junior team members
- Significant contribution to the direction and growth of our team by undertaking business development and key account management activities
Helping to supporting clients on projects both locally and throughout the UK, providing commercial solutions to complex environmental issues
What you’ll bring
- A relevant degree such as an Air Quality or Environmental Sciences related degree, or studying towards a relevant degree for the role you are applying for
- An appropriate Master’s degree is also desirable
- Ideally industry relevant work experience
- Willing to work towards an associate membership of the Institution of Environmental Sciences and Institute of Air Quality Management.
- Keen to share your ideas about how we can do things better
- Great communication skills developed through well-rounded life experience - academically, socially and in any previous work situations
- Enthusiastic and ambitious to learn and progress
- A problem solver with strong communication skills
- Personal organisation skills, and the ability to work well within a team
- Right to Work and live in the UK
